Little Red Fox

@littleredfoxdc is among the cutest local coffee shops in the District.

The cafe is welcoming and offers a friendly neighborhood experience, complete with homemade pies. It is also right next door to the @politics_prose bookstore!

Kramerbooks & Afterwords Cafe

I love @kramerbooks. Located in Dupont circle, the independent bookstore has both a comfortable cafe and bar.

The P.O.V. Rooftop Lounge & Terrace at the W

The P.O.V. has the best view of the Washington Monument and Whitehouse, this side of the Potomac.

After hitting the American Art Museum for the Irving Penn retrospective, the P.O.V. Rooftop is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the evening.

Eisenhower Executive Office Building

The Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB) is infamous for it’s striking facade. You either love or hate the grandioseness of its multitude of columns. One of the greatest examples of French Second Empire architectural style, the building was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1969. It is next door to the White House and across from the Renwick Gallery.

The Georgetown Waterfront

Georgetown Waterfront park is the perfect place for resting and reading after shopping on M Street. The park is just a short walk down from the Frye Georgetown storefront! Nearby there are endless options for brunch or coffee and desserts, notably @farmfishbakedc and @bakedandwireddc.

Ben’s Chili Bowl

Ben’s Chili Bowl is an iconic restaurant located in Shaw and the The U Street corridor, next door to the Lincoln Theater. The restaurant kept its doors open throughout the 1968 riots, serving black activists and policemen alike. The food is beloved by the city and well worth the wait!
